Some of the most creative people I meet in my travels are Baptists. All over the world you can find Baptist mission-workers doing creative and courageous work, often on a shoestring, expressing their devotion to God and neighbor. Thank God, not all Baptists can be stereotyped by the vocal, tense, and often reactionary minority who seem to grab headlines here in the US most often ... far from it.
