Our church has been trying to get adult groups going now for a year with limited success. We’ve read some good books together but they haven’t really fostered community so we decided we wanted to use We Make The Road By Walking with our group of 6 couples. Up till now the group has been kind of limping along, but it feels like we’ve finally hit our stride and something good it taking hold. I think it’s working just the way you envisioned it. At the meeting tonight I though, “I wish Brian could be a fly on the wall to see this. He would be so happy.” Your commentary and the structure that you put forth is exactly right for this group of folks who have never met in homes, shared a meal, and opened themselves over scripture and insightful commentary. You have really given us a wonderful gift and the growth in sharing and vulnerability is a genuine miracle happening right before our eyes.
