We Are Not Ready, But …

We must admit that we are not ready for the task now. We are carrying so much old baggage, so many “weights that so easily entangle us” (Hebrews 12:1). Preoccupied by our belief systems, held hostage to our violent understandings of God, and mired in institutional inertia that must be turned into movement momentum, our strength is not sufficient to the challenge. But if we simply start moving in faith, what has been impossible can become possible.
